Try the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way around Swifts Hill, or treat yourselves to a Winstones Ice cream after a hike around Rodborough Common


The Ram, Lamb, Woolpack, Stirrup Cup, Bear and Stroud Brewery are all within walking distance.

There are gardens at Painswick and Westonbirt, wine-tasting in Woodchester, wildlife at Slimbridge and the Cotswold Wildlife Park, historic buildings everywhere

Nearby Stroud has a wonderful farmers' market.  There is a local farmshop, and the Stroud Wine Company gives discounts to our guests...and delivers!


Head to the Cotswold Water Park for water sports, Barton End for riding, shooting at Ian Coley or a Spa day at Cowley Manor


Cheltenham has the racing and the festival, there are point-to-points, polo, Gifford's Circus, Cheese Rolling at Coopers' Hill, opera at Longborough and much more
