A gentle walk through a private valley with incredible panoramic views will lead you to The Ram, a welcoming local pub serving good food. Or head over the Lypiatt Ridge to The Woolpack, Cider with Rosie author Laurie Lee's second home.

Our map features places to eat & drink, shop, visit and things to do including wonderful walks, horse-riding, mountain-biking, gliding, shooting, sailing, skateboarding and much more.  There are castles, wetlands, wildlife parks and stately homes to visit.

Try the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way around Swifts Hill, or treat yourselves to a Winstones Ice cream after a hike around Rodborough Common

Nearby Stroud has a wonderful farmers' market.  There is a local farmshop, and the Stroud Wine Company gives discounts to our guests...and delivers!
