"For a truly remote glamping experience, book yourself a stay at Middle Lypiatt, which has just opened for its first full year. The rustic safari tent sleeps six, perched high above the ground on a wooden platform in a 12-acre field, and boasts unrivalled south-facing views over the Toadsmoor Valley, part of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The tent features a fully-fitted kitchen, large open-plan living space - which can be extended to include the front deck - two bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. The founders were also keen to reduce their environmental impact as much as possible when building the site - from using reclaimed timber in much of the construction, to hand-making the bathroom furniture and using upcycled fittings. Ramblers will be delighted by the numerous walks on your doorstep and the nearby woods to explore, while there are also local pubs just a short distance away, as well as the beautiful towns of Stroud and Cirencester."
